Behind The Withering Eye is Hannah Withers, a Toronto-based photographer and 3rd year media production student at Toronto Metropolitan University. Inspired by her mother, a retired arts and photography teacher, Hannah has cultivated a lifelong passion for visual storytelling. After rediscovering her love for photography in high school—where she served as senior yearbook editor—Hannah has developed a versatile skill set.

Her work spans multiple genres, including behind-the-scenes, event, nature, editorial, and headshot photography, along with videography and post-production. She is also eager to enter the world of interior design, real estate and wedding photography as well.

During her university years, Hannah has gained practical experience as a headshot photographer for her program's student union headshot events and a behind-the-scenes photographer for notable 4th year practicum projects like Swine and 1-800-THE-VOID. She is currently freelancing as a photographer and videographer for the DeRo Foundation. She is also co-editor and videographer for MetTv's Webseries, Eat The City!

With her creative vision and technical skills, Hannah is eager to make her mark in the media industry.
